Cessna Skyhawk
The clubs Skyhawk is a 1975 172M model and was purchased by the club in March 1980. The engine was upgraded to a new 180HP Lycoming engine per the AirPlains 180HP Upgrade STC in October 2023. A new Sensenich Propellor was also installed as part of the STC. The Gross Weight was increased to 2550 lbs per the Air Plains GW Increase STC. The C-172 has long range tanks with 48 gallons usable. The interior was completely redone in November 2003 and is in excellent condition. The exterior was newly painted in Sep 2007.
